Hiraoka Coffee

Other Coffee Shop

Hiraoka Coffee is a café that was founded in 1921, in the Taisho period. The interior has a serene, relaxed elegance; there is a real sense of a history that goes back almost a century. The house special is the Hiraoka Coffee Original Blend “Century Coffee,” which is available in both hot and iced versions. The “Owner’s Recommendation” coffee is also worth trying; this varies depending on what beans the café has been purchasing recently. Besides coffee, Hiraoka Coffee also offers traditional hard donuts; these are straightforward but delicious oil-fried donuts with no topping.

Absolutely delicious and made with care.. we had coffee and quick bread which were both excellent! Will definitely be telling everyone we know about this hidden gem!

While Osaka prefecture is the country's second smallest prefecture, its capital, Osaka City, is the country’s third-largest and arguably one of the most popular in the Kansai region thanks to its vibrant nightlife, the Osaka people’s openness, and its much-loved cuisine, which has earned it the nickname “the nation’s kitchen."
