Other Coffee Shop

Ujien Kissako is a Japanese tea “café” run by a long-established tea distributor with a history going back to 1869. Ujien Kissako is constantly introducing new technology and new ideas; it was selected to supply tea for the national leaders' accommodation during the G7 Summit at Ise-Shima. At the Shinsaibashi main branch, which functions as both a tea shop and café, visitors can enjoy superb Japanese tea and delicious Japanese confectionery made with green tea. Ujien Kissako's powdered green tea jars, which are decorated with images of homely-looking women and ugly men, make great presents to take home from your visit to Osaka. Ujien Kissako also offers a range of experiential activities, including a Green Tea Experience and a Fun Japanese Tea Experience.

While Osaka prefecture is the country's second smallest prefecture, its capital, Osaka City, is the country's third-largest and arguably one of the most popular in the Kansai region thanks to its vibrant nightlife, the Osaka people's openness, and its much-loved cuisine, which has earned it the nickname “the nation's kitchen."
