Sake Bar Sawara is a place where you can enjoy local sake varieties and shochu liquors that have been carefully sourced from regions throughout Japan by expert sake sommeliers, in a casual, modern bar environment. Sawara's most famous offering is “Cask Fragrance Sake,” which is stored in a wooden cask made from the Sawara cypress tree, and which can be enjoyed together with Obanzai (light Kyoto-style home cooking using boiled vegetables and marinated food) made using seasonal ingredients sourced directly from the areas where they are produced. Sawara is located on the sixth floor of Grand Front Osaka (North Building), around one minute's walk from JR Osaka Station and around three minutes' walk from Umeda Station (Hankyu Railway and Midosuji Subway Line).
