This sweets cafe of Western confectionery specialist Henri Charpentier, famous for its department store basement sweets, is located in a spot around a two-minute walk from Ashiya Station on the Hanshin Main Line. Since opening its doors in 1969 it has been loved by the people of Ashiya, welcoming a large number of long-term fans. The showcase is lined with sweets full of seasonal fruits, available for takeout or eat-in. The cafe space also offers a food menu including the well-known Crepe Suzette.
