This is a tenugui hand towel specialist store in Nakazakinishi, Kita Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, a town full of old streets. It is a company store of the “Nijiyura” dyeing factory in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. In a process called chusen, each towel is dyed carefully one by one for a beautiful coloring and smooth texture. The charming designs, giving a modern feel to traditional inherited ones, are popular gifts too. Lined up inside the shop are various unique and original products including hand towels, bags and other Japanese general goods.
