A famous takoyaki octopus dumpling shop located in America-Mura in Osaka City’s Chuo Ward said to be the originator of the “amikake mayonnaise” style of takoyaki, which is fast become the standard for takoyaki today. Since the shop was first opened, it has only used carefully selected, highest quality ingredients, including a specially made mayonnaise and select octopus. The dough, made with a dashi stock prepared from seven varieties of ingredients and mixed with Japanese yam, is flavorful, spongy, and addictive. In addition to standard takoyaki sauce, the shop also offers a negipon spring onion and yuzu sauce as well as a popular black pepper and salt mayonnaise. Eat-in space available.
