Game Arcade

A smartball (pinball-like game) hall located in the Shinsekai area of Osaka City’s Naniwa Ward. The retro Showa-style hall is filled with old fashioned smartball machines lined up in rows, and entrants can play whichever machines they like. Put in some money and 25 balls will pop out. Hit the balls with the flippers into the holes marked with numbers and the same number of balls will pop out. Saved balls can be exchanged for prizes like snacks and stuffed animals.

While Osaka prefecture is the country's second smallest prefecture, its capital, Osaka City, is the country’s third-largest and arguably one of the most popular in the Kansai region thanks to its vibrant nightlife, the Osaka people’s openness, and its much-loved cuisine, which has earned it the nickname “the nation’s kitchen."
