Marufuku Coffee Shop Sennichimae Main Store
A venerable café located in Osaka’s Minami commercial district which has won itself numerous fans with its rich, full-bodied coffee. As one might expect of such a long-standing establishment, the shop is fastidious about the details, including using the same cups provided to the Imperial household. The shop also continues to use the roasting method and unique drip extraction method passed down by the original founder. The café’s old-fashioned hotcakes are a particularly popular dessert choice to go with its coffee. The shop’s brick exterior and retro interior also appear in Seiko Tanabe’s novel Bara no ame. The closest station is Nippombashi Station.
