Makabechina Tea is a restaurant in Makabe, Itoman City. The shop was a traditional Japanese house with a red roof built in the Meiji period (late 19th century) which has been designated as a registered Tangible Cultural Property. It offers a range of menus from popular Okinawan soba noodles, set meals with Okinawan food such as chanpuru, fried noodles topped with seafood sauce, and desserts to herbal tea and coffee.

I liked that the restaurant is inside a traditional building which survived the war. Its nice to look around the building after enjoying good food. I recommend trying the chai latte.
