The atmosphere is dignified and mature, with modern and stylish interior decor and large screens made of washi paper. The cafe serves seven varieties of tea from Japan and other countries, and each cup is brewed individually, using Kyoto's famous water. The most popular sweets eaten with tea are Viennese baked sweets and azuki rolled cake. Tea leaves and carefully chosen variety goods are favorite Kyoto souvenirs.

Goshitsu Sanowa is a very pleasant little place to visit for tea and desserts. The desserts were elegantly simple and delicious.

仁和寺の御室桜を見に行きました、帰りに近くにある「御室さのわ」さんで休憩です。風情のある外観、店内もシックで落ち着きのある空間です。おむしやしないを注文。おにぎり・牛肉のしぐれ煮・季節のお野菜・くめさんの京番茶・日替わりの小菓子。どれも美味しく、こだわりの食材でおもてなしの心を感じます。

仁和寺の前でお茶するのは嫌だったのでおしゃれな喫茶を探しました。仁和寺を出て信号を渡り、左側に歩いていくとまた信号があります。その信号を右に曲がってすぐY字路になっている角です。るるぶにも載ってました。カウンター窓側、キッチン側、大きなテーブルが真ん中にある喫茶です。おかみさん&男性の方二人いらっしゃいました。入口に食器などが飾ってあります（売り物）店内はさほど広めではないのですが...
