A traditional kaiseki course cuisine restaurant located past the torii gate of Yasaka-jinja Shrine. There were once two (“ni ken”) tea houses (“chaya”) facing each other across the approach to Yasaka Shrine, resulting in them being collectively referred to as the “Niken Chaya.” Later, Nakamuraro succeeded one of these, the Kashiwaya, the history of which dates back to the Muromachi period. In the late Edo period, Nakamuraro became widely known as one of Kyoto’s leading restaurants, and in the Meiji period it was a popular place for financiers, writers, and artists to meet. Both in the daytime and at night, the restaurant primarily serves a monthly changing menu of seasonal kaiseki cuisine. The restaurant is also available for wedding receptions, Buddhist memorial services, and other events.

料亭としては(価格等考慮すれば当然)普通でした

料理内容とかは極めて良いのだが、価格も考慮した総合的なものは「普通」、これだけ払えば、まぁ、こんなもんでしょうね。それにしても創業４８０年の超老舗で歴史的にも凄いのに、何で？？「二軒茶屋」なんてどうでもいいような冠を付さないと口コミページが出て来ないのか？我が国にここ以上の「中村楼」がどこかにあるのか？こんなどうでも良いような肩書は即刻抹消して単に「中村楼」だけでこのページが出て来るようにしなさい...
二軒茶屋でお茶しました

八坂神社を出て左のお茶屋で、お茶とお饅頭など、ゆっくりと休憩して、さて次の高台寺から清水さんへ。昔の蔵を改築した様な、落ち着いた雰囲気の喫茶で、和風でもあり洋風でもあり、昭和モダンでしょうか、ちょっとした小物やお土産があります。定番中の定番でしょうか。
老舗だけではなくとにかく美味しい！

色々なミシュランなど、行きましたがやはりここは美味しいです。老舗に捉われず、素晴らしいお料理です。四季全て行っていますがブレはさほどありません。割烹のお部屋「喜Yoshi」も目の前でお料理をしていただき見ながらお酒を飲んでとてもいいお部屋です。とても素晴らしいレストランです。
