A Japanese restaurant located along Miyagawa-cho Street a three minute walk from Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. The restaurant is situated inside a former tea house. As the restaurant’s name implies (“Rice Shop”), the restaurant takes great care in preparing a fluffy rice blending grains from Kyotamba and Omi. During the day, the restaurant serves obanzai Kyoto home-style cuisine meal sets. At night, the shop makes use of its tea house atmosphere to serve a la carte items and course meals together with choice sakes.

建物が古く、それを京風といえばそうかもしれません。二人でしたので、カウンター希望でしたが「常連が来たら騒がしいから」といわれ、２Ｆに案内されました。サービスとしては、常連優先の地元の居酒屋ですね。少しオシャレな感じがしますが、料金は京都の値段でお高めです。２度目は無いですね
