This Japanese confectionery store was established in 1948, on the path leading up to the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The plum garden confectionary store has a selection of carefully created Japanese sweets such as Houmanzan, dedicated to the Emperor, and Uso no Mochi. The store creates different sweets each season and is a favorite of culture and tea-lovers. It is approximately 30 minutes by car from Fukuoka Airport, or one minute on foot from the Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station.

宝満山はなんとも言えない食感でした。うその餅はおいしく食べられました。正直、これら二つは、好みが分かれると思いますので、試食してから購入されることをお勧めします。
うその餅

うその餅は、普段は緑色の物だけですが、この日は特別なピンク色のうその餅がありました。お店の人は同じ味と言っていましたが、ピンク色のうその餅は、ほんのり梅味でした。普通のうその餅より美味しかったです。
うその餅は癖になります

歴史を感じる大きな看板が目印になります。店内に入って試食をさせて頂き、うその餅と宝満山を購入しました。うその餅は求肥にかかっているそぼろが”グリーン”なので、最初はちょっと・・・でしたが、非常に美味しく癖になります。そぼろは２５日だけピンクのものを売るとのこと。ＨＰ上ではうそ餅の箱に入っている人形は２月から「土うそ」になったと書かれていましたが、「木うそ」が入っていました。元号が変わったから...
