A fruit and pancake specialty restaurant located on the ninth floor of JR Hakata City, a mall connected directly to Hakata Station. Popular particularly with young women, Campbell Early sees lines of customers waiting outside the entrance every day. Directly operated by a venerable fruit shop, the restaurant offers an abundant variety of pancakes and parfaits made with copious amounts of seasonal fruits. Best-sellers include the mixed fruit pancakes and the banana and caramel pancakes, which give diners the chance to enjoy both the restaurant’s rich, ripe fruit and fluffy pancakes together. At night, diners can enjoy the city’s nightscape from the restaurant’s window seats, as well as a fresh fruit cocktail.
