Other Restaurant

Thirteen shops line this lane at the start of Nichigin-dori Street in Otaru City, Hokkaido. It features a variety of food stalls enjoyed by locals and tourists, single diners and groups alike. The village has heaps of tempting options only available here like the poultry cuisine at Toriatsu that solely uses Otaru bred chickens and the Jingisukan (Mongolian mutton barbecue) at Jinpei. The shops will let you use their Wi-Fi on request. Days off and business hours vary depending on the shop, but many of them are open until midnight.

Not just a prefecture but an island of its own, Hokkaido is the most northerly prefecture and island of the Japanese archipelago. Arriving in Hokkaido, which is rural and bursting with breathtaking nature, means entering a world where vast national parks, towering mountains, and natural hot springs can be found at every turn. Come December, these natural splendors freeze over and morph into a winter wonderland.
