Segway Guided Tourセグウェイガイドツアー

Other Leisure Facility / Other Outdoors Facility

Japan's first guided Segway tour conducted in Tokachi Millennium Forest overlooking the Tokachi Plain. Segways are futuristic, two-wheeled vehicles which move simply by tilting your body weight forward. Electrically powered and environmentally friendly, riding a Segway is a comfortable way to enjoy the beauty of the 400 hectare forest. There are two courses, a beginner's course sticking mainly to the grassy plain, and an intermediate course through the forest itself. The tour focuses on the landscape, the environment, and re-foresting, and participants can enjoy different scenery depending on the season. Participants must be 16 years of age or older. An advance reservation is required.

Not just a prefecture but an island of its own, Hokkaido is the most northerly prefecture and island of the Japanese archipelago. Arriving in Hokkaido, which is rural and bursting with breathtaking nature, means entering a world where vast national parks, towering mountains, and natural hot springs can be found at every turn. Come December, these natural splendors freeze over and morph into a winter wonderland.
