Wakoto Onsen

A hot spring bath facility built at the root of the Wakoto Peninsula jutting out into Lake Kussharo. The facility is an open-air bath and is located inside a park on the lakeshore. There are no partitions or other screens to conceal the bath, giving it an extremely open atmosphere. There are wooden changing rooms and a concrete path leading to the bath so that visitors do not need to get their feet dirty. Bathers may wear towels or bathing suits in the bath. Note that no amenities are sold nearby. There is a campground nearby and campers, sweaty from their endeavors, often use the bath.
