Todowara
“Todowara”, also known as “the end of this world”, is a continuous desolate piece of earth. The Todo pine forest died when it was eroded by sea water. In contrast to the dry Todo pine forest, there are many flowers blooming in summer, a scene particular to Hokkaido. This contrast teaches us the severity and beauty of nature.
