A natural and lovely looking log house-style farm restaurant located in Shikaoi Town, Kato County, Hokkaido. The buffet-style local cuisine using food from Hokkaido and the Shikaoi area is extremely popular and you’ll often find long queues at lunchtime. Of the food on offer, nikujaga (a common home cooked meat and potato stew) using local Shikaoi May Queen potatoes is particularly popular. From stews to western-style food, there’s plenty on offer for people of all ages to enjoy at this restaurant. There are also cottages on the farm where you can stay overnight.

鹿追町中心部からちょっと外れたところにあります。料理の種類が豊富なビュッフェです。これで1,650円はお得。隣には馬が放牧されている牧場があり、大草原の雰囲気を感じながらのランチになりました。

鹿追町市街地の北側の国道２７４号線ぞいの十勝の大平原に、こちらの大草原の小さな家がありました。大草原の中に、ログハウスが数棟建ち並んでいました。その中の１棟がこちらのレストランで、他の数棟はコテージでした。こちらのレストランの名物はやさいがたっぷりの「田舎料理バイキング」のようですが、この日私がいただいたのはケーキとコーヒー。手作り感たっぷりのケーキは、自然派ケーキで、外の景色にもぴったりな...

バイキング形式でした。野菜が多めで、一般的な家庭料理のようなメニューでした。家族連れで、賑わっていました。価格と制限時間から考えますと、コスパは良いとは言えません。
