Pogawa Historical Grassland, Shibetsu Town
"This large park is located five-minutes by bus from Shibetsu Bus Terminal. In the park, established with the concept of ""a place to feel and experience the cultural scenery of Hokkaido before reclamation"", visitors can see two national historic landmarks. Highlights include the ancient pit dwellings of Ichani Karikariusu Historical Village, and the Shibestu Marshland, which covers a third of the Ozegahara Marshland, both nationally-designated historic landmarks, as well as the large 80-year old oak trees."
