Yamamura Daikan Yashiki

A historic structure located in Fukushima, Kiso Town, Kiso County, Nagano Prefecture. The site makes up part of the Old Trade Route of Kisoji: Preserver of the Mountain and Survivor of Time Japan Heritage listing. The site consists of a garden and a portion of a villa which belonged to the Yamamura family, whose members served for generations as magistrates of the Kiso Valley. Visitors can view the garden; there are also exhibits such as cultural materials handed down in the Yamamura family.
