Haruta Park

Park / Green Space
This park is famous for its 300 Yoshino cherry trees which bloom from mid- to late April. The sight of the flowering trees, planted around the banks of two ponds in the park, is gorgeous. The park also holds a lengthy cherry blossom festival in April. In addition, Haruta Shrine, a Shinto shrine dedicated to Haruta Omikami, Kotoshironushi-no-Kami, and Ukanomitama-no-Mikoto, is also located inside the park.
