Soba Soan蕎麦 草庵
"This soba shop is in a remodeled kominka (old house). They offer carefully made soba in an atmospheric interior. They grind their own soba flour and mix it with their own well water for handmade soba in 90%, 100%, and course ground 100% soba. It's a favorite with soba fans, and was selected one of the 100 Best in Japan in 2017. Their menu offers ""Soba-mae"" meal sets made with local ingredients, as well as a selection of local sakes."

Highlights of the seaside towns lining the west coast include Kanazawa, often described as a "Little Kyoto" thanks to its old wooden tea houses and geisha culture as well as its picturesque Japanese garden, Kenroku-en.
