This pottery studio produces Kutani ware, one of Ishikawa Prefecture’s most well-known traditional crafts. The studio primarily makes and sells decorative art and tableware for special occasions as well as everyday meals. Established in 1879, the studio offers classical yet fresh Kutani ware which is decorated in deep, vivid indigo blues and the traditional five colors (blue, yellow, violet, ultramarine, and red) of Kutani ware.
