A village-operated day-use hot spring identifiable by its arch roof and orange exterior. Highlights include a spacious large indoor bath capable of accommodating 140 bathers, seasonal event baths such as apple and yuzu citrus baths, a cascade bath, and sauna. A bathing room for the physically challenged is also available for use with an advance reservation. The waters of the bathhouse' salt-rich sodium chloride spring are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, muscle soreness, and fatigue. Other facilities include a restaurant, rest lounge, and souvenir and gift shop. Reasonably-priced, the bathhouse is a great place to visit after taking in the area's naturally beautiful sea and mountains.

貴重な温泉

青森県の上磯地区（津軽半島東部）は青森県の他の地域に比べ温泉が非常に少ない地域ですが、その中の貴重な日帰り温泉施設です。泉質はナトリウム塩化物強塩泉、なかなか温まる良い温泉です。
塩化物泉で温まる

村営の日帰り温泉施設で、塩化物泉を加温・循環しているとのことですが、消毒臭は気になりませんでした。広めのメイン浴槽のほか、冷たい源泉が掛け流されている小さな浴槽、サウナ、水風呂もあります。休日の夕方だったので地元の方たちで少し混みあっていました。

津軽半島の沿岸部にはもともと温泉がなかったが、蟹田にする里創生法で作ったのか、おとぎの国のようなスーパー銭湯がある。ツーリングの小休止にと、立ち寄ってみた。青森の公衆浴場に入り慣れた身には、泉質も雰囲気も残念な無理やり掘って循環でかろうじて温泉と言える代物だった。リピはないねぇ。
