Futatsumori Kaizuka (Shell Mound)
"In the area near the confluence of the southwest of Lake Ogawara, the Takase River and the Aka River, there are ruins in a slightly elevated area 30 meters above sea level. They are from the early to middle Jomon period from 5,500 to 4,000 years ago where 27 kinds of shellfish were discovered including basket clams, Manila clams, scallops, oysters, and hamaguri clams. Other than shellfish, bones of fish and mammals as well as pit dwellings and much more has been excavated. The four prefectural treasures are ""blue dragon sword shaped bone tools made from whale bone,"" ""spear points made from deer horn,"" ""jewelry made from boar tusks"" and ""forked objects made from deep horn."""
