A facility which provides information on the nature, history, and culture of Iwaki. The facility contains informational panels with images as well as a large tapestry providing an overview of the Tohoku Nature Trail; visitors can also see terrain models of local nature trails and the Mt. Iwaki area. The facility also introduces local highlights, guided tours which traverse extensive portions of the area, and annual events. In addition, there's a footbath on the grounds which is a popular place to take a break and soothe away the aches caused by excessive walking.

足湯を利用できるとのことで行ってみました。硫黄の匂いがして期待が高まります。足をつけたら冷たかったです。季節が限定されるのかもしれません。
足湯もクローズド

季節によって営業していない時期があるので要注意です。併設の足湯にはお湯が張ってありましたが、温泉のにおいはするものの、温度がぬるいというか寒かったです。営業中のみ温度調節しているのかも。
本格的な足湯

嶽温泉の近くにある無料の休憩所で、パネルや模型などで岩木山の自然を紹介しています。駐車場にある足湯は、硫黄臭がして湯の華もただよっている本格的な温泉で、すぐにポカポカと温まります。
