Mutsu Science Museum

This science museum displays the reactor room of the nuclear-fueled vessel, the Mutsu. This public display of a reactor room is a world first. The ship's actual turbine and external propeller/mechanisms to propel the ship with nuclear fuel are also displayed in a way that is easy to understand. Visitors can book a tour around the museum with explanations provided by an instructor up to a week in advance. Machining workshops and observations of science experiments are also organized by the museum.

信じられなかったです。絶対無料と思ったのに、入り口から中を覗いて、￥３００円の価値は無いと確信しやめました。（入り口での判断：深謝）
原子力船むつに関する展示

子供が楽しめる科技館ですが、レプリカではなく本物の原子炉室を展示してあるので、大人でも興味がある展示もされています。入館料も安いのでいいですが週に2日休館日があるので事前にチェックしておくといいです。
懐かしの原子力船むつ

建物が見えると、懐かしき原子力船むつの形をしていました。中では一階で科学実験的な物を体験でき、二階からは原子力のむつね内部を見る事ができました。この日は、超伝導の実験を見る事ができ、一緒に行った子供以上に親が楽しめました。
