Musician Ningyokan
A museum located inside Nihonkai Fisherman’s Cape, a commercial complex with restaurants, shopping, and a beachside resort. This unusual museum is dedicated to miniature figurines of musicians. The museum’s collection of wooden, metal, porcelain, and paper figurines spans over 2,000 items. The museum’s expressive figurines, depicted holding the same instruments as their real-life counterparts, have been gathered from across Japan and the world. Looking as if they’ll spring to life and start making music, the collection includes particularly rare and valuable figures as well.
