A museum adjoining Akita University in Tegata Osawa, Akita City. The museum's collection consists of minerals and mining-related items gathered since the establishment of the Akita Mining College, the predecessor of the current Faculty of International Resource Sciences. Exhibits include over 1,500 mineral samples spanning some 400 varieties from around Japan and the world, large mineral specimens excavated from mines in the prefecture, and an exhibit on the history and composition of the Earth.

石がたくさんあって、石マニアにはたまらんラインナップの博物館となっております。和ロックとコラボレーションしないかなぁ。100円で入れる割にはすごく見応えがあります。
真剣に眺めたら楽しかった

100円の入場料でたくさんの石が見られます。真剣に産地まで読んでいると疲れるほどのボリュームです。今回は大人だけだったので大丈夫でしたが子供向けの遊べる何かがあればもっといいのになと思いました。石探しとか・・・
