Onuma Nature Trail
A nature trail built around Lake Onuma in Kumazawa National Forest in Hachimantai, Kazuno City. Visitors can walk the wooden walkways erected around the lake, considered one of the most scenic destinations in the Hachimantai area, and catch sight of marshland plants such as Japanese azaleas as well as Japanese beech forest. During the peak of the fall foliage season in mid-October, the area is visited by the largest number of tourists it sees all year.
