A 25-minute drive from the Shirane Interchange on the Chubu-Odan Expressway. This hot spring complex and lodge is situated 1,000 meters above sea level at the entranceway to a climbing route leading up the Southern Japan Alps. The bathhouse' indoor bathing area, tiled with black granite, boasts a spectacular view of the Southern Japan Alps from its huge windows. The bathhouse also has an outdoor bath. Its spring produces an astonishing 300 liters of hot water every minute, and its waters are said to treat nerve pain, gastrointestinal disorders, motor paralysis, and fatigue. There's also a restaurant, rest lounge, and souvenir shop, as well as a foot bath area. The facility is open from mid-June to early November.

広河原行きのバス停があるので登山者には便利です日帰り入浴と食事ができますがお風呂はあまり広くありません
南アルプスからの帰りによるお風呂に。

南アルプス登山口である広河原から約1時間、ここで一旦降りて次のバス（約1時間）までお風呂にはいり、簡単な食事をとることができる。つくりは普通だが温泉はしっかりしている。他の温泉よりも気軽さがあり、疲れているときはこれもありかなと感じた。
