Winery / Brewery

This winery is located in the Fujii area of Katsunuma-cho, Koshu City. In a shop with over 120 years of history, founded in the Meiji period, they make wine from grapes grown in the company's own farm. You can visit the museum containing historical resources, the storehouses and where the grapes are pressed for free, and twice a day (once in the morning and once in the afternoon) you can enter the rooms themselves. You can also pay for a wine tasting and to buy from their shop.

Yamanashi prefecture is the proud home of one of Japan's most celebrated icons: Mount Fuji. Although the mountain straddles both Yamanashi and Shizuoka, the most breathtaking views of Fuji-san can be seen from the Fuji Five Lakes north of the mountain in Yamanashi prefecture. The plethora of outdoor activities in and around the lakes all have the benefit of the country's highest mountain as their backdrop, and we can assure you that it is an unforgettable sight.
