Maizuru Tanabe-jo Castle Museum

This museum collects and displays materials on the ruins of Tanabe castle, where Hosokawa Yusai (Hosokawa Fujitaka) was once lord. He is known as the founder of early modern poetics study. The museum introduces the history of castle owners such as Hosokawa Yusai and the history of Tanabe Castle and its castle town through panels and model exhibits.
