Ruins of Tango Kokubunji Temple

The historic site of the Tango Kokubunji Temple, one of the many Kokubunji Temples throughout Japan. The remains of the main temple structure, tower, and cornerstones reconstructed during the Nanboku-cho Period still remain and the site has been designated a National Historical Site.
