Historical Monument
A historical site in NarukoOnsenShitomae, Osaki City. This was the location where a checkpoint had been established during the Sengoku period at a strategic point along the Dewa Kaido Road. In 1670 it was turned into the Shitomae Guardhouse by the local ruling Date family.
