Takenaka Jinya Ruins
These ruins are located along Iwate's Prefecture Route 257 in Tarui Town, Fuwa County. After the death of Takenaka Shigeharu (called Hanbei), known as a strategist to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, his heir Shigekado established a camp at the ruins of his castle. Only the gate, castle moat and stone wall remain.
