Traditional ""Sweet Chestnut Paste"" and colorful Japanese sweets are sold at the recreational park ""Chikori Village"" in front of the Nakatsugawa Interchange. ""Sweet Chestnut Paste"" or ""Kurikinton"" is a traditional Japanese sweet made from only the extremely simple ingredients of chestnuts and sugar, having a simple natural flavor. They are Shinkinedo's front running product and are made from 100% Japanese chestnuts without any additives, and won the Monde Selection Gold Award for three successive years."
