Hananoko Lake

This artificial lake surrounded by rich nature at an altitude of 560 meters has been developed as a comprehensive outdoor resort with activities such as camping, cycling, fishing and tennis. The lake is known for being extremely pretty during the spring with the cherry blossoms, and is also known for the Japanese red maple being beautiful with the lake during the fall. There are many families who visit with lunches for picnics in the spring. On the east side of the lake there is a Momiji Lake Natural Park where every September, the buckwheat flowers bloom at once. In addition, the contrast between the white flowers blooming in the garden with an area of about six hectares and the blue sky is a treat for the eyes.
