Ramen Chigusa

Ramen

This restaurant is located a three-minute walk from Kuji Stationon the Sanriku Railway Riasu Line (Miyako - Kuji). It is a popular ramen restaurant that has been loved by residents of Kuji City for many years. The handmade noodles are made only with Okinawan natural salt, flour, water and the kansui method of preparing noodles. They blend perfectly with the translucent amber soup that is made with whole chicken and contains no potherbs. The chashu, also made from chicken, is chewy, and when chewed, the flavor spreads throughout one's mouth. The ramen, topped with chicken chashu, spring onion and bamboo shoots, and the curry ramen, topped with pork cutlets, are well-recommended. Take-out is also available.
