The museum has displays related to the history of the region from primitive times to the present day, as well as materials related to Sashima Tea, a specialty product. They also exhibit the work of artists with ties to the region, such as Goseda Horyu ll and Yokoyama Taikan. There is also a library, a media hall, and an astronomical observatory.

年に数度は訪れる。その理由は，特別展。地域に根ざしたテーマで，十分に調査を尽くした展示。ここにくるとますます地域を誇れるようになる。図書館も利用しやすく，すばらしい。

坂東市役所猿島庁舎の近くにあります。体育館のすぐ横。車でないとアクセスが悪いですね。この時は歴史関係の展示をやっていましたが、他に日本画だったり、写真展だったりいろいろ。企画展の内容を調べていく方がいいかもしれません。
