つくばで一番の桜の名所で、毎年観に行っています。道の両側からみごとな枝ぶりの桜が楽しめます。夜もおすすめです。

道路両側満開の桜は圧巻です。つくば桜の名所5本の指に入ると思います。病院の方から車で408号に抜けるだけでも幸せな気持ちになれるところです。

車で通るだけでもお花見、408号線にある農林団地はつくばの桜の名所です。バスも有るようですが車でしか行ったことがありません。平日午前中、駐車場も空いていました。まだ桜吹雪には早く、花はしっかり枝について満開でした。整備された桜並木で人工的といえばそれまでですが、青空の日のお花見散策は本当に気持ち良いと思います。
