Okiura Kannon

Temple
This temple is located in Okiurahei, Nagahama-cho, Ozu City. The temple's official name is BanshozanZuiryu-ji. The principle object of worship in the temple is the wooden standing statue of the Eleven-headed Kannon, which was built approximately 900 years ago and is a nationally designated important cultural property. The temple grounds are also a famous cherry blossom-viewing spot, and draw many people to the Spring Festival which is held on April 17thevery year.
