追分駅の西側で、長い通路が直線に延びているのと、芝生広場の三角建屋が印象的。それにしても、こんなに街の近隣ににうっそうとした木立や、目にしみるような緑豊かな芝生もあるとはうらやましい限り。
自然がいい

かなりの敷地にある公園で自然の中にある公園といった感じです。林の中を歩くと色んな植物を見れ鳥の鳴き声を聞きながらの散歩は心を癒されます。公園の奥には、鹿が飼われていて見れますし、大きな池もあります。キャンプ場もあります。難点は、自動車でないと行けないところです。

春には桜や水芭蕉、夏にはスイレンやひまわり、秋にはきれいな紅葉と一年中花を楽しむ事ができる公園が鹿公園です。エゾシカの牧場なども併設されており子供連れにも人気の公園です。広い敷地内にはパークゴルフ場やキャンプ場もあります。
