Their permanent exhibition includes part of the collected centered around the twin themes of World Culture and World Antique Art. They also hold special exhibitions, themed exhibitions, lectures, and workshops.

天理教敷地内にある天理大学の民俗学・考古学の博物館で天理教の独特の建物内にあります。天理教の巨大建築「おやさとやかた」と呼ばれる異様な建物がやけに目立ちます。外観だけで十分ですが秋の銀杏並木の紅葉は美しいですよ。。
