A muddy and medicinal golden hot spring. Its water is said to be so therapeutic that local warriors would bathe there to heal their wounds. It's a sodium calcium hydrogen carbonate chloride spring and a neutral hypotonic cold mineral spring, which is unusual for Japan. It's said to help alleviate nerve pain and muscle soreness. At 38 - 40 degrees, the water isn't overly hot. If you soak for 15 minutes, it will slowly warm you through to the core and get you sweating. Morning bathing comes recommended, and some people show up even before they open for the mineral deposits, a sign of the hot spring's ample mineral content.

ここはすごい！と語り尽くす県外の温泉通の方がいました。小さく洗い場も少ないですが、ぜひ訪れたい秘湯です。家庭的な料理を出す食堂もあります。

入浴料400円を払い中へ、観光客はいないほとんど地元の人、ゆっくり入って要られそう、泉質はナトリウム・カルシウム炭酸水素塩・塩化物泉の黄金色のにごり湯、湯船の淵には塩の結晶が着きいい湯に浸かって満足、疲れも取れよく寝られるかも。
