Yunokawa Onsen Hikawa Bijin no Yu
A day-use hot spring facility that lets visitors enjoy Yunokawa Onsen, one of Japan's top three beautifying hot spring alongside Ryujin Onsen in Wakayama Prefecture and Kawanaka Onsen in Gunma Prefecture. A legend says that when Yakami Hime of Inaba Province visited Yunokawa Onsen long ago, it eased her fatigue from travel and turned her into a lovely goddess of beauty. The soft water leaves you covered in salts and helps keep your skin moist when you get out of the bath. Freely flowing from the source, the sodium calcium sulfate chloride spring is said to be good for nerve pain, muscle soreness, sensitivity to cold, and chronic women's disease. The outdoor bath is wonderful at dusk. Unwind with a soak while absorbing the changing colors as the sun sets.
