A restaurant at the starting point of the Shiraito Highland Way connecting Kita-Karuizawa and Kyu-Karuizawa. A veteran shop with a 100-year-plus history, it was originally a lodge for climbers on Mt. Asama. Today it's still a break spot for travelers, serving soba and udon noodles, cake, drinks, and other light fare. Some trails and trailheads are close by, so many people stop in for a break while checking their maps. It's about 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station and is a great place to unwind with a high ceiling and a modern atmosphere.

鬼押し出しと白糸の滝の中間位にあるレストランです。

メニューは多くありませんが、ちょうどお腹が空いた時に、ポツンとあるレストランで助かりました。カレーをいただきましたが、美味しかったです。お蕎麦等もあったようです。
看板が大きくて目立ちます

白糸の滝に行った時大きな看板が目に入り立ち寄りました。ずいぶん前から営業されているようですが、内容的には昔で言うドライブインのような・・お蕎麦などの軽食が食べれますが、味は可もなく不可もなくといった感じでした。
有料道路の入り口です”峰の茶屋”

白糸の滝方面に行く有料道路の入り口にあります。看板に出ていた『お蕎麦』を食べました。まぁ、普通です。中軽井沢駅前の有名店と比べるのが間違えなのかもしれません。小休止には、もってこいでした。
