This art museum, situated inside the Toro Park, is located at 5-Chome, Toro, Suruga Ward, Shizuoka City. Housed in this museum are around 800 works of Serizawa Keisuke, a holder of the title of Important Intangible Cultural Property, a so called national treasure, who was a dyer from Shizuoka City. The museum also has over 4500 artisanal works from around the world that he collected. The museum rotates the works on display three times a year. On Sundays and holidays when the museum is open, Serizawa Keisuke's residence moved from Tokyo, is open for public viewing

They have a beautiful collection of Serizawas pieces. I knew very little about him and his art before this trip. I would recommend this if you have time.
