Izu Gokurakuen
This is a theme park located along the National Route 136 in Shimofunabara, Izu City. There are two attractions, the jigokugokurakumeguri, and the hihoten (must be 18 or older). The jigokugokurakumeguri venue is a diorama based on the Ojoyoshu, written in 985 depicting hell and heaven, representing the afterworld. The hihoten venue displays the treasures from around the world including the 48 hands of shingontatekawa school, said to have originated in Izu. Various souvenir goods are sold here.
